Does anyone else lead a soap opera-style life? I do. And believe me, I dont do it on purpose. First of all, my ex bfs current gf who used to be one of my good friends used to have a crush on this guy who is my ex bf/her current bfs best friend who came over with his parents who are "couples friends" with my parents to my house for lunch today. well, that was an awkward affair.
dont get me wrong, hes cute. very cute. but quiet, and one of the few people i cant seem to figure out. not to mention, im pretty sure his mother and my mother were intending to get us together. his parents invited me and my parents to watch him sing last night...i wouldve gone, but my ex bf and the ex friend who are together were there since he is my ex bfs best friend. right. so it wouldve been twice as awkward as today. btw, didnt know he was coming with his parents and that my parents had invited him as well. i was going to eat quick and run, but they said it would be rude since he was there, like it was a little playdate or something. did i mention im 20?
well. this is just too high school. and now my ex friends sister who i still get along with invited me to a part tomorrow where all of the above will be in attendence. OMG isnt that like, so totally radical!?

Big Fear: Cold Feet
I hate cold feet. Not the kind you get when you're considering jilting a poor sucker at the altar, but the kind you get when there's no circulation in your feet or you're walking barefoot on ice or whatever is going on to make your feet ache from cold! OOOOOO I hate that.....anyone else with a weird fear?
Pretty Pretty Princess
Who loves pretty pretty princess!? me. However, while most little girls simply make their dads play this lovely jewelry-based game, I, being myself, was able to get my high school guy friends to play it. In the cafeteria. At lunch time. More than once. Oh, those were some good times.
But what does this do to a person psychologically? For a little girl, it reinforces the idea of femininity being closely associated with sparkles and glitter and pretty colors. Shallow? I think so.
Dont get mad, I still love it. And I'd play it again, no matter what it reinforces. I state the above simply to comment on the influence it must have had on my guy friends.
First off, they were of the straight persuasion. Second, they were wearing earings and crowns and bracelets in front of our whole class. Third, they thoroughly enjoyed it.
So, opinions?

Is it Typical? Is it REALLY?
I trip and fall. Typical. Some pro athlete gets busted for drugs. Typical. A prof gives a pop quiz the one day I didnt read the chapter. Typical. Finding $100 in my boot. NOT TYPICAL. But true. I dont know if someone rich secretly loves me and knows I need money or if my chaotic disorganization just paid off. Either way, I now have the money to buy Christmas presents. THAT is not typical. This day is, therefore, atypical. To me. What about You?
